Sand Fence


Sand Fence
Sand fence can not only protect the dune and the plants, but also protect beaches from natural erosion. Our sand fence is to attach GI wire fencing panels to galvanized steel posts, and it has 0.80 meter buried in the ground and 1.90 meter above ground.
Sand fencing Installation also needs accessories (pin staples and dropper bar) and steel gates, which all as below:
Height: 1.90 meter above ground and 0.80 meter buried in the ground.
  1. GI wire:
    No. of Rows: 11 Rows of 3.15mm diameter high tensile wire.
    Galvanized steel posts:
    Intermediate post: Length: 2.70 meter (1.90 meter above ground + 0.80 meter buried into the concrete) with center placed at every 7.50 meter.
    Size: IPE 80.
    Strainer post: 160nos Length of 2.70 meter IPE 120 with supports of IPE 80 at every 300 meters. These are fitted with necessary ratchet winders, hollow bolts and nuts. (Total strainer post will be 160nos of 2.70 meter and support posts of IPE 80 will be 4 × 160 = 640nos of 3.0 meter.)
    Corner post: construction as of strainer post.
    End post: used at the end and at starting point. Construction similar to strainer post.
  2. Sand Fence Accessories:
    Hair pin staples: All wire should be pinned to line post with staples. Dropper bar: 750mm and 450mm to be used.
  3. Civil work:
    Details for civil footings. 500 × 500 × 700 Total no of civil footings approximate: 7200nos.
  4. Steel gates: (ornamental type)
    Size 1: Gate - 1: 2 meter × 6 meters = 12 Sq.meter × 2nos = 24 Sq.meters: AED 22,800.
    Size 2: Gate - 2: 2 meter × 1.5 meters 3 Sq.meter × 2nos = 6 Sq.meters: AED 5,700.
